As much as I love Black Flag, there's the lazy absurdity of having the coast of south "Florida" being covered by jungles and cliffs.

Complete nonsense. If anything, the reverse is true - the ****ing movies end up ruining the comics. Marvel Studios not having the X-Men franchise basically destroyed the X-Men comics for over a decade - along with a profoundly stupid push to replace them with the Inhumans because they did control that property - and arbitrarily made Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch into non-mutants.

 

Not to mention that horrible pattern they got into for a bit there where, every time a movie was taking inspiration from an old event, they would do the same event again, but way worse (Infinity Wars and Civil War II being the worst offenders).

 

The point is "Never listen to the fans."
