In re: Hulk... the whole thing is, it's not just that film. He has essentially gotten control over getting angry and maintaining a current state of anger to control not turning into the Hulk at the end of his previous movie:



He references that movie about him attempting suicide and the "other guy" spitting out the bullet in his talk in the scene where the Mind Gem is causing people issues; that was the deleted scene that was an alternate opening to his film:



Because he could control the Hulk (under normal circumstances) to not come out -- because he didn't believe he had any control over the Hulk when the Hulk was driving the body -- as he said he kept to the outskirts of civilization, avoiding trouble while still helping people. He even references the fact that he can will the Hulk out in the same scene where he says "sorry, you don't get to see my party trick"... (there's more of this throughout the film, including in India with Black Widow, as well as him being able to be triggered via still overloading stress/injury/etc.)

What he learns later, from Harry Dean Stanton of all people!, is that it appeared like Hulk intentionally avoided hurting anyone and landed in an uninhabited warehouse, indicating some level of control. That, combined with Tony's talk with him in the lab, made him show back up in NY to try and fight...

I don't really have any **** posting, but here's mild ribbing of Batman tropes?

 

You could probably just do this with Stephen King films. Misery with "Help." Christine with "Little Honda." Pet Sematary with... er... "Pet Sematary."

My favorite "wtf thats pretty obtuse for tv show credits" image from the X-Files titles has always been the seed germinating.

I'm an adult who watches Disney movies. I have no desire to see this.

 

It’s a little impressive that they managed to hit precisely the look and tone of a College Humor parody of Maleficent.

 

I mean, the one reason I would even consider watching this is Emma Stone. But that trailer is awful.

Though I do wonder how much of a "girlboss" she's going to be. She still looks pretty villainous to me. Though it's hard to say given a minute and a half of completely contextless footage.
