It's probably my Who-related anal observations about locations, but I've been watching series 1 of Monty Python this evening, and I noticed that not only was the Bus used in Episode 3's Bicycle Repairman sketch exactly the same bus used in Episode 6's Dull Life of a Citybroker sketch, but they use the same street as well.

Anyway, can we make this thread an official Monty Python thread. A forum search doesn't reveal another one

On one of the older dvd releases there was a Palin-hosted documentary called "Pythonland" - in a nutshell, most of the exteriors used in a myriad of their sketches was in a single location.

 

We watched it on UK Gold last night. I thought it was pretty good, except for the censoring they had to do in part 1 as it was before the 9PM watershed. Apparently the show will be shown again unedited on that channel after 9PM but I don't have a date/time at this point.

 

Get Mar's one re-opened.
