OMG!!! Boy was this out of left field! Excellent choice from Lucasfilm. Live action OT era FTW. I’m assuming we’ll get some K2, and maybe some of the Rebels characters in live action too?

Lucasfilm, this is the correct answer to "What TV series should we make?"

 

great concept and great character. my teen daughter and her friend reacted very positively when I told them this.

 

This is as excited I have been for new SW content in a while. Dang I forgot what this felt like lol. So stoked. And as I like my niche fiction actors, Diego Luna is a nerd that loves this stuff. I really can't wait for this because there is so much potential here.

 

They were not kidding when they were talking about focusing on TV

 

They had me a "Spy Thriller." Including Cassian in that is a very nice cherry on top.

 

Gimme that sweet K2-SO origin story!

Also would love to see flashbacks to Cassian's childhood under the Separatists. Maybe being around Battledroids lead to his friendship with K2?

Two Star Wars live action series'? So basically I've died and this is heaven, right?

 

A Rebel Spy series? Sold. Not sure how his eventual fate might impact the drama...but I'm open to this idea.

 

This is brilliant. Cassian Andor has been one of my favourite new characters in the modern DISNEY Star Wars era. So much potential for great stories involving this character as a spy/assassin/the person who does all of the Rebellions "dirty work" behind the scenes. Brilliant DISNEY and LFL; my hat is off to you with all of this great new content and lore in the overall Star Wars story.

Hot damn these next few years are gonna be crazy. Episode 9, the RJ Trilogy, the B&W series, Resistance, Clone Wars, The Mandalorian, and now "Cassian Bond".

Absolutely fantastic. All around.

 

I am honestly surprised by this and so happy? Finally something I am genuinely excited for .... Cassian is one of my favorite characters in the franchise and it will be wonderful to see Diego reprise the role .

 

Dang the bolded didn't occur to me. That would be so sweet if she showed up.

 

The only thing that would have competed with this would be a Base and Chirrut series.
Or a flat out Raddus tv show.

But hey, that can be animated.

I am so happy this sub-universe of Star Wars is still alive.

 

I love the concept of this show, but I'm disappointed by the lead. I found Cassian one of the two most dull characters in Rogue One, and would have much preferred a Chirrut and Baze series as far as Rogue One characters go. But I do like having a Rebel spy show, and I hope that there'll be some more that'll grab my attention here.

 

Hmmmm I might be interested in this.

 

I guess we know Baze and Chirrut can't even cameo. Cassian clearly didn't know them in R1. That's a bummer.
