Anime suggestions

At least i have 2 animes which i enjoyed.

 

I'm watching Pandora Hearts, a currently ongoing anime. It's quite good.

 

Personally I gave up on Pandora Hearts after two episodes.

What two anime did you enjoy? It's easier to suggest anime when I know which genres the watcher likes.

 

Berserk and The Last Airbender.

 

If you liked Avatar I'd suggest Juuni Kokki (Twelve Kingdoms) and Seirei no Moribito (Guardian of the Water spirit) both series are amongst my favourite anime I've seen.

As for Berserk, definitely go with Guin Saga and I've just recalled another anime with a medieval setting: Claymore, however the manga is much better then the anime.

 

I am also intrested in seeing my first more serious anime.

Could someone recommand me some of those?

 

The anime I listed are quite serious and especially not 'childish'.

 

I was thinking about Sen to Chihiro no kamikakushi for example.

 

How about Musishi, Mononoke, Kamichu, Natsume Yuujinchou and Miyazaki movies such as Princess Mononoke, Nausicaa etc.

And no I did not 'accidently' listed Mononoke twice one is a 13 episode TV series the other is Miyazaki's movie.

Brand new anime is out called CANAAN. It's on its first episode, and is quite awesome.

 

The animation in CANAAN was quite excellent, although the show hasn't sold me yet. Aoi Hana on the other hand: one of my favourite director doing a serious lesbian romance? oi I'm sold.
