I'm all for helping anyone interested in having a Rebel Fleet Trooper costume in time for this. It's a very simple, easy costume.

The only 'sticky' parts are the helmet and the blaster.

SOMEBODY...ANYBODY...has to get me OW's Rebel Fleet Trooper helmet this weekend at the Renfest. Umm...can anyone arrange that?

    You went dirty, Josh? Cool!

And...now I seriously need to change my screen name. 2 TK's, both named Josh, and both Sandtroopers. And now we got John's TK...LOL...

But I'm SOOOOOOOO CLOOOOOSE to 5k posts! Maybe I'll change my screen name when I hit 5k.

You need some dirtying up, Becca. How does one hide in the woods being all sparkly and white?

    I used temperal paint..

it is awesome stuff. when it tries.. it becomes dust. and looks really good.

    I got it from
    http://www.woodlandscenics.com/
    Terrion -
    Earth Colors Liquid Pigment

and best part.. it washes off really easy becuase it is just dust,(on plastic that is,, i dont know if it comes off easy on cloth.. havent tryed to clean my pouldron,, but have cleaned my armor cuz i didnt like the way i did it the first time.)

    :D :D :D

    [face_devil]

Really though, just a teeny bit of weathering. Nothing extreme. I have a few different shades of brown paint, that when mixed together, look surprisingly like dirt.

    FOR REALS!!!

    Im with Cory. ..... Huh?!

No really- John, I appreciate you posting. I'm kinda out of the loop, but if there is any bad blood, Im glad someone is trying to work it out.

As I said, I'm kinda out of the loop, but as someone who has NO idea whats going on- I'd like to throw in my two cents. :D

The idea of two Star Wars fan groups having any kind of rivalry (other than friendly competion) seems ridiculous to me.
When I first found these boards, I was amazaed and excited that there were other people who enjoyed Star Wars like me. Then I find out there are like 3 different groups, all kinda focusing on different things.
    I thought that was awesome!

    I still think that!

The way I see it, there are enough of us hardcore Star Wars fans to justify different fan groups for different interests, but there are not so many of us that we should seperate ourselves from each other.

Spread the love, people. We all dig the same thing.

    Jeff,

we just need at least 4 four digit numbers from you and Kim for your id numbers, you know the id numbers that will put you on pedestals and alienate you from the RMFF. ;)

Mine is gloss black in the classic "2001: A Space Odyssey" 1x3x9 configuration. ;)

Unfortunately, since the zoo has rights to the monkeys, I can only get them 1 day a month, so I have to choose wisely when I get on it.

I too am out of the loop (I think I am in an entirely different loop--and loopy to boot).
But I also think it silly to have enmity between two groups that love the same thing!

Anyway does any Josh or anyone one else know where I can get a Stormtrooper costume without having to spend an arm and a leg? I am poor and so can't spend much on one. The cheapest I have seen on ebay is around 600 and I can't afford that. I am hoping to have one for Celebration III. I want to spruce it up so it is not a normal Stormtrooper outfit. It should stand out from the crowd!
