The ultimate April fools joke. It’s not a joke.

 

No. We’re giving everyone a day of leniency as they adjust to the new policy, but past that point any negative comments will result in immediate bans.

 

If this is a joke, it's certainly an involved one. If it isn't a joke, I think that timing for setting up the changes might not've been the best, considering what day it is.

 

I wonder if those wondering if it's a joke or not actually read the content of the threads.

It's totally serious. And I approve of this direction.

 

I think part of it will end up being a joke. Such as the pics of RJ with a heart around it and all that. But I'd bet the new policies will stay in place. The Sequel trilogy area was indeed becoming a hive of negativity that made it virtually impossible to talk about anything else about the films other than I like the movies and here is why or I hate the movies and here is why.

 

I'm sure the over gushing stuff about Rian Johnson is a joke, but I will admit that I've been visiting the forums less & less, esp. the TLJ forum because it seems like the haters were in every thread, not just the sanctuary one, complaining about the same things, repeatedly. It makes me not want to come to the forums since it's no fun to see multiple forums being hijacked w/the same old complaints.

 

Sounds like the Internet in general these days, to be honest.

Still think that April 1st was not the right time to unveil something like this, given that I'm sure a lot of people will just write it off as a joke. No offense, but I'm still not sure that this isn't a joke (it is April Fool's after all, so I think I can be forgiven the skepticism).

Are we still allowed to discuss aspects of the movies we did or didn't like* in other forums, i.e. on social threads, or the saga-in-depth forum?

*For example, I liked what they did with x, but I wasn't really a fan of y.

Edit: Since this forum is for all the new films ought you to have love-heart banners of JJ, Gareth, and Ron too?

Its weird cause I has a "vision" this would happen about a week ago...

Why wasn't I banned!!! I am being as negative as I possibly can. Why am I still here??? FTR, I hate all movies that have never been made and will never be made. They aren't being made for a reason.....they suck. So all movies that do not yet exist suck until they get made!

What if one has a medical condition where they can only make negative comments on a specific forum because their doctor prescribed it in order to battle their severe anxiety? Can this person then provide this prescription to you as proof @Darth Chiznuk?

 

Don't think you can get banned for saying bad things about movies that don't exist. Unless you are talking about the Last of Us movie that doesn't exist. And then you will have two choices;

1. Get Banned

or

2. Sit in a room for ten minutes with this girl

 

Well maybe the real doctor was the friends we made along the way?
