DFW, TX Another Classic is Released on DVD

About 3 weeks or so ago, I picked up several classic Sci-Fi films that had just been released on DVD. There was Metropolis, Journey to the Center of the Earth, and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

As of today, I have now viewed them all and I must say that they are beautiful DVDs. The picture, the sound, the clean-up of the color on Journey... It's just amazing what they can do with these older films.

Today's viewing was The Day the Earth Stood Still. It's probably been 5 years or so since I'd had a chance to see this, and it's amazing just how clever the film really is. I recommend you going and adding this to your collection asap just for historical filmmaking reasons if nothing else.
