    When this is going for humour, it works, but the action and drama aren't working quite as well. It's unfortunate that all I can really think of is how great this would be if Wright was still at the helm. As it is...I'm not sold. And Evangeline Lilly looks like she's really phoning it in.

    Whats the line Pym gives before the Marvel logo? She goes "How do we stop him?" and he goes something like "By going high" or "My knowing eye" but I can't make it out.

    It's interesting that they're solely playing up the GOTG connection and not the rest of the Avengersverse. Presumably trying to prepare people for the humor element.

    Smart move- Ant-Man would actually benefit from distinguishing itself (but not distancing itself) from Avengers, to avoid people getting too burned out having only just experiencing AOU 2 months prior.

    Marvel very wisely didn't try to sell GOTG as Avengers 2.0. They embraced the humor and quirk of it in the marketing and I think that ended up being a big selling point with people. Ant-Man is sorta in the same boat because, well, it's called Ant-Man (Ants being more annoying, but less frightening, than spiders, bats and... iron). And even though the trailers actually show a balance between the humor and the dramatic elements (his daughter, redemption), it's not running away from the fact that the character has an absurd name and it's (presumably) a bit more overtly humorous than the Avengers side of the Marvelverse.

    It seems obvious they're tying Pym's history into SHIELD and possibly the early days of the Avengers Initiative idea.
