I always thought he was a good actor to cast as a young Han Solo. Alden Ehrenreich was okay, but Ingruber has a greater physical resemblance to Harrison Ford.

I'd be completely fine with him playing a younger Indy in the next film.

Greater physical resemblance is fine when you cast someone to stand in the background for a few seconds. It is not when you expect actual acting. For that you need a proper actor, someone who can bring out the essence of the character, not someone whose only real asset is that he looks similar to the actor who played the role before.

You probably won't have a hard time finding random people who look exactly like all sorts of movie stars from this day and age or even from the past. Yet none of them ever get used in place of the actors. Mostly because what makes a great actor a great actor is the ability to act, not the looks.

I think Jim Bruer does a good Jack Nicolson, but I wouldn't cast him in Chinatown 2.

I'd much rather see Sean Patrick Flannery again as Indiana Jones. Afterall, he played the character in the Young Indiana Jones Chronicles.
