Anyone intrested in organising a convention?

I was thinking about it tonight and wondered what it took to do it, how to get guests ect anyone do it before?

 

It would take alot of money for starters, and I really can't see anyone here wanting to put up the sort of money needed for a convention!

 

yeah I think you kinda under estimate what sort of work is needed, it's very stressful for one. As Yosh says you need a lot of money as well and I can't see people here having that sort of money. I think I will stick with just going to showmasters conventions, less stress

What about a small one, in a school hall, a few dealers who dont have to pay for there space and say 2 guests. All in aid of Charity!

Ellbobin, you could probably do it if it was only dealers going, but you wouldn't get any celebs without some serious money behind you, regardless if it was for charity or not.

 

Then there's licences... insurance... etc etc etc etc I could go on...
