St. Lou, MO April 2nd StLFF group shopping day

I didn't get as much as I wanted when I went to Wal Mart yesterday, but I did get some cool stuff.

I got

Anakin Skywalker (in the Jedi Robe)
RotS Calendar
RotS Jedi poster

and then...
we went to KMART, I immediately ran to the toy aisle, and no star wars merch! I was like "NOOOO!"
And then when we were about to leave, as my stepdad was paying for the groceries and whatnot, me and my Mom waited in the entrance of the store where the automatic doors are, and then my Stepdad started knocking on the glass and held up the Darth Vader figure, and I freaked out. Turns out, at KMART they had the new figures in a different area of the store (why they weren't with the toys is beyond me).

 

I have been working outside all day today, I just love this weather!!

I also had a great time, even if I did lose 10 years of my life to John... Wow you guys, these meetings just keep getting better and better! The shopping, witnessing the car accident and all the excitement was well worth all the exhaustion...

All I can say is.... Holy CRAP! I had to pay for the laminating of the C3 nametags in dimes and nickels. I don't even wanna ask what you spent on all THAT.....

 

Yeah, I'm pretty well broke now between that and the costume stuff I've bought lately.

I think it will all be worth it though.

 

Sad thing is I bought six more today, with more planned soon.

I'm still tired and can relate Dajuan. My typo's are just as bad... and I would be careful, Christian, I am guessing she had some very interesting pics to share...

 

That's not how it's spelled?!? Maybe I shouldn't have let Dajuan tattoo it on me afterall....

 

I had a great time!! Thanks for the memories! The drivebys with the blaster were great, even got it on film! This was one of the most memorable meetings I've been to.

 

It was a good time. I still can't believe I missed Kit Fisto - I know I saw him in more than one store, but when I got home no Kit. I also need to get the 2nd OBI, Anakin and Yoda, probably get them at lunchtime today.

I'm waiting til next weekend to grab the ships.

Dajuan, you got any connections that can get you another Lava Vader?

Other than Tater, there seems to be a lot of stuff around here. (Tim, no Lava Vader, sorry). So if anyone needs anything else let me know...

Oh, and if anyone ended up with my Toy's R Us bag let me know! I had a small box that had two tins in it and a figure of Luminuari(sp?). I didn't make it home with it...

 

I'll see what I can do Tim, I don't know if I have my own yet.

Christina, I am going Tater hunting this afternoon, same goes if you find it grab me one please.

I just need Tater, Lava Vader and holo Yoda.

 

Don't forget about what Ted told you about the Yoda Dajuan.

BTW, Ted told me that they got over $10,000 worth of sales in those two hours Saturday morning.

Also, I think I need to take screenshots of the video I have with the drivebys by John and the blaster rifle. So funny. I still laugh hard when I think about that.
