Are you a Member of your Local Fanforce Chapter?

I don't have one near by and don't feel like going to Boston or NYC..I have my own personal fanforce not many members though Corellian Wookies of Latham NY.

 

The Fan Force for my area was shut down just before I found out what Fan Force was, and the nearest one (35 miles away from where I live) seems to be going extinct. I think the next nearest one is three hours away in a car, or five by plane. So sad.

 

I helped to resurrect it, but sadly have not attended an event.

I was when it was active.

 

My FF is fairly new.. not too many people in my area on the JC, so we had to expand to include the entire Inland Empire valleys of Southern California. And dear god help us, we're stuck right between San Diego FF and Los Angeles FF.

 

Where's the poll? Well, yes, I am a proud member of the Fan Force for Washington DC! We're a very active group and the Twin for Fan Force United Kingdom! Bravo to both FFDC and FFUK!

No, they always meet at places that are inconvienant for people from my area of the sprawl, and I work odd hours anyway.

I'm in Tucson and we're trying to get the local chapter up and running.

I do a lot of fraternizing with the Phoenix Fan Force

I don't go to the meetings, though. I'm too ugly.

 

Nope, the Fanforce chapter nearest me isn't exactly that near.

 

I post on the Ventura County FanForce board, but I have yet to go to a meeting. I'm too anxious and depressive to go to one, but they told me I'm welcome to come to one when I feel comfortable enough to go.

 

I don't think Youngstown Ohio has a fan force Sadly.I sure wish there was one

I was around this time last year.
Due to all the favoritism & "I,Me,My" b.s that has and is still going on,I and a # of others quit.

There's no room for fans who consistantly get plowed over by other "fans" that want to constantly "be in the spotlight" or spouting forth their "All Knowing Wisdom "on collecting,trivia, "culture" , costuming,etc,etc....
