ST Are you Guys Planning on Getting the Star Wars episode 7 Empire Magazine

I love Empire Magazine what do you guys think of it and are you planning on getting a copy of the episode 7 issue or some other Magazine, I also like Vanity Fair.....

 

Depends on how good the issue ends up being, as well as whether or not I can afford it at the time. I doubt we'll be seeing it for quite some time anyway.

 

I think all Empire Magazines are great Issues, I just got done with the article of a movie I saw at the theater last night Guardians Of The Galaxy It was a great article!!!

 

Well, like I said, part of it comes down to how much money I have on me at the time (the woes of being a college student ) . Empire tends to be a pricey purchase for me, so I'd have to be really fond of the issue in order to get myself to purchase it.

 

Give me some good ol' Star Wars Insider.

 

I usually pick up as many of the magazines with SW articles as possible.

 

I'll pass, but I do hope that it has good promotional images that people scan for the internet

 

I'd rather purchase weed, you can read the magazine on line for free

 

do they still make the Star Wars Insider magazine? Maybe now is a good time to start up a subscription again

 

I like physical media weather it is a News Paper,Magazine, DVD, BLU-RAY, or CD I guess I am old fashioned

Rookhelm, yes they still make Star wars Insider but I had to end my subscription because it now costs about $100 to get it for one year when I subscribed it was about $30.00, kind of steep now don't you think 1 hundred dollars

 

I like my newspaper to be physical as well:

 

physical: as in something real you can touch and pick up not something on a computer.

 

wow, no kidding. I remember when they changed it from every other month to quarterly, too. For like $30

 

I think the best entertainment magazine is Empire Magazine, I found it quite by accident, I was walking trough my Boarders Book Store Magazine section and I found a copy, about 10 years or so ago and it was love at first site, way better then any American Entertainment magazine. one time I bought the copy of Empire with the Adventures Of Tintin Movie cover, I ordered it in December from London it did not come for months because of a big snow storm in London when it did arrive it came with a free magazine because of how long it took!!!!

I had a subscription to SW Insider a long time ago. I can't believe it's gotten that expensive... that's ridiculous. Are they still tying it to some sort of official SW fanclub membership? They may be trying to justify the price that way.

 

yea they are tying it into a fan club membership but it still is not worth it.

Has there been an announcement about an Episode 7 Empire issue?

 

I forgot Empire magazine even existed until I read this thread. It was good. I might get a copy, but not until after VII is released. I don't want any major spoilers or such.

As far as Star Wars Insider, I never subscribed to it or any other SW mag. But a cursory glance at Amazon shows that while the price did more than double, it's about 64 bucks for a year, not 100.

 

There won't be one Empire EpVII magazine there'll be about 6 or 7. One will have Mark on the front, one will have Harrison on the front, one will have Carrie on the front etc...

In the end they're just cashing in on the films fans.
