prenn and i are both from reno. i don't know what dp's excuse is. but the other thing is that when joe lunardi was going through the bubble teams and their quality wins it seemed all of them had wins against iowa state, which made them seem weak. i may have overthought this.

 

my thought process was GO WOLFPACK GO RENO THEY CAN'T LOSE GO CAMERON OLIVER. so i might have under thought it. lol

 

today is not going well at all. this is more like what i'm used to.

 

First into the Sweet 16: West Virginia!!

 

What a crazy ending to the UNC/KY game!

 

thanks! it always takes some luck of course, they could have been knocked out in round 2 or 3 pretty easily. and i don't have this game in the bag just yet either. Psych_Jedi will take it if gonzaga wins the championship.

edit: sort of a crazy thing is that brackets that simply picked the higher seed in every game are in the 98th percentile at this point.

 

After a slow start, this tourney has gotten increasingly exciting! I'm a Duck fan, but the loss of Boucher impacted their front court depth, so I didn't take them that far (I think NC will give the trouble). That NC-KY game was great--I picked KY in that one. Great run by South Carolina! That's why they call it March Madness! Picking all high seeds can work, especially the way points are given in this pool. In my family pool I'm in last place with the same bracket--we do: 1,2,3..., so it's more about the whole bracket. I could have lost that one with my Gonzaga-Kentucky final--my Sweet 16 was quite weak. My biggest errors were picking Iowa St. to the final 8 and picking Cincinnati to beat UCLA.
