PRENNTACULAR - you actually cannot sub in/out players between games of a series. Just starters vs. reserves and target minutes. So, I actually cannot run a lineup for you that has minutes for Bennett and Aldridge ...

jk. I'm an idiot. I would have to sub in those players too. use love for Aldridge and give bennetts minutes to Irving.

It's a shame. Because Delly playing lockdown defense on Miami LeBron to win the game would be the thing of dreams. Sim will come this afternoon.

    Best-of-Seven Series

    (2) God's Squad (2) vs. (6)SEXY TRAIN (0)

Game 3: God's Squad at SEXY TRAIN

Two road losses to open the series, and SEXY TRAIN made some radical changes to their lineup.

Through 36 minutes, they trailed by just 5, and it looked like they might have a chance to pull it off.

    Then, the fourth quarter happened.

God's Squad ran off a 20-6 run in the fourth quarter - including a bucket from Anthony Bennett - to remove any doubt and take a commanding lead of the series. And now, SEXY TRAIN will face the deficit they put tom's new shells in last round, and hope that God's Squad crumbles a little more than they did.

It wasn't just the fourth quarter that killed SEXY TRAIN. It was rebounding. God's Squad held a 56-40 edge on the glass, and a 15-9 edge on the offensive glass. Kevin Garnett grabbed 17 rebounds (6 offensive) to go along with his 17 points, and LeBron James' Triple Double included 10 rebounds to go along with his 24 points and 10 assists.

Dwyane Wade added 21 points and 12 assists.

Really, the lone sour spot for God's Squad in the fourth quarter was Tracy McGrady throwing away a chance a a four-trillion by shooting (and making) a shot with 25 seconds left.

SEXY TRAIN got 17 points each from LeBron James and Tony Parker, but almost nothing from Kyrie Irving, who scored just 4 points in 25 minutes.

Final Score: God's Squad 120, SEXY TRAIN 91

    Best-of-Seven Series

    (1) The Lando System (2) vs. (5) Game, Blouses (1)

Game 4: The Lando System at Game, Blouses

After a home loss in game three, Game, Blouses were looking for a rebound game to avoid their season going to the brink.

They didn't get a rebound game. And they didn't get many rebounds, either.

Buoyed by 15 rebounds from Bill Russell, on a night where he didn't score any points), The Lando System grabbed a 60-35 edge on the boards, and used that to muscle their way to victory.

Julius Erving lead the offense for the Lando System with 32 points and 8 rebounds, and Larry Bird threw in 20 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. CHris Paul added a double-double of 11 points and 10 assists to help the offense get to 57.4% shooting from the field.

Game, Blouses got 20 points from Scottie Pippen. amd 19 points and 8 assists from Derrick Rose, but otherwise had a terrible night, trailing by as many as 15 in the first quarter.

Final Score: The Lando System 126, Game, Blouses 99

    Best-of-Seven Series

    (2) God's Squad (3) vs. (6)SEXY TRAIN (0)

Game 4: God's Squad at SEXY TRAIN

SEXY TRAIN will hope that God's Squad continues to struggle with the number four.

Seeking their fourth win of the series, and advancement to the finals that comes with ti, God's Squad completely fell apart in the fourth quarter.

SEXY TRAIN opened the fourth quarter on a 13-2 run to turn a six-point lead into a 17-point lead with seven minutes to play, and held God's squad to just 8 points total in the fourth quarter.

LeBron James had a fantastic night for SEXY TRAIN and a night to absolutely forget for God's Squad. for SEXY TRAIN, James put up 25 points, collected 8 rebounds, dished out 7 assists, blocked 4 shots, and added 4 steals to completely fill up the stat sheet. The King, meanwhile, scored just 7 points on a dismal 3-for-11 shooting performance and had nearly as many turnovers (5) as assists (6) for God's Squad.

SEXY TRAIN also got 21 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists from Tim Duncan, as well as 14 points from George Gervin, and 11 rebounds (but only 2 points) from Dennis Rodman.

SEXY TRAIN held God's Squad to just 42% shooting on the night, though God's Squad did get 25 points and 12 rebounds from Shaquille O'Neal

Final Score: SEXY TRAIN 97, God's Squad 72

    Best-of-Seven Series

    (1) The Lando System (3) vs. (5) Game, Blouses (1)

Game 5: Game, Blouses at The Lando System

Michael Jordan wasn't ready to go home yet.

And Patrick Ewing's mom was running the simulator again.

Those two things combined to help Game, Blouses stave off elimination.

Jordan scored 19 points, grabbed 8 rebounds, and dished out 8 assists, and addition to blocking five shots to pace the team. Ewing scored 27 points on an impressive 12-for-19 shooting night, and added 6 rebounds.

Derrick Rose added 21 points and 12 assists, and Bernard King scored 13 off the bench to buoy Game, Blouses to live and fight another day.

The game came down to the final seconds, with Chris Paul scoring 5 points in the final 12 seconds to make, and then keep, the game a one-possession game. But Jordan, Rose, and Carmelo Anthony went six-for-six from the free throw line to ensure their team would see out the win.

Paul had 22 points and 9 assists on the night, and Julius Erving had a game-high 33 points. 16 points each from Larry Bird and Kevin McHale and a double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) from Artis Gilmore weren't enough to get the series-clinching victory.

Final Score: Game, Blouses 14, The Lando System 110

    (2) God's Squad (3) vs. (6)SEXY TRAIN (1)

Game 5: SEXY TRAIN at God's Squad

The SEXY TRAIN will pull into the station of game six.

SEXY TRAIN's version of LeBron James scored 20 points, dished out 10 assists, and grabbed 6 rebounds, and did it with just one turnover and on 8-for-12 shooting. That just outpaced God's Squad King, who had 19 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists - also just one turnover, but less efficient shooting, at 8-for-15.

The difference for SEXY TRAIN came from inside. Tim Duncan scored 24 points, and grabbed 9 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard scored 14 and grabbed 14 rebounds, and David Robinson scored 18 and hauled in 9 rebounds. That added up to 51.7% shooting from the floor for SEXY TRAIN, and a slight 52-48 edge on the boards.

God's Squad got 22 points and 10 assists from Dwyane Wade, 18 points and 17 rebounds, including 10 on the offensive glass, from Shaquille O'Neal, and 20 points and 14 rebounds from Kevin Garnett. But, they also got just 10 points on 5-for-18 shooting from Michael Jordan, and 3 turnovers.

God's Squad was within 3 points with 2 minutes to play, but couldn't get a stop the rest of the way, as SEXY TRAIN ended the game on a 12-4 run.

Final Score: SEXY TRAIN 110, God's Squad 99

So, both teams blow a chance to close it out at home. Any adjustments for game six?

Random idea, sparked by this post - maybe bring the four winning teams together for a quick tournament after this one? Just a round-robin. Almost no investment, and an easy way for me to show someone else how to do the sims and run one of these if there's interest in someone picking up the baton ...
