Just up on AOTC spoilers !

AOTC Exhibition Visits Scotland in March
    Fri, Jan 25, 02 05:51:21 AM EST

    The Scotsman reports:

A sneak preview of the new Star Wars movie is to be offered in Edinburgh almost two months before it arrives on the big screen.

Costumes, models and artwork involved in the making of Attack of the Clones are expected to go on display at the City Art Centre.

They will be an exclusive addition to The Art of Star Wars exhibition that the Capital will be staging from March-September.

It was also announced today that fans? favourite Anthony Daniels, who played the robot C3PO in all four Star Wars films to date and is also in the new adventure, will open the exhibition.

I saw Art of SW at the Barbican in London, but, you know, big rush, other tourist things to do.
This is good news - a mere 45 minute train ride away, plus many pals to visit pub-wise aferwards - joy.

I also did but this means I can get to see it again as Edinburgh is only a hour and a half away.Which is closer than London at the moment.

Visiting is okay, just don't stand still too long or your photo will end up on the front cover of Japanese Tourist monthly!

Oh wait...I was paid for that...and the magazine had a different name.

You can now book your tickets for the Art of Star Wars at the City Arts Centre, Edinburgh.

We'll station a garrison of troopers at Waverly Station to keep out all the moanin' Weegies.

ps I only live in Embra, I'm an exciled Buddy if any of you know what that means.

exhibition entry costs £6 for adults
    £4 for kids, I think.....

all the train strikes so far have been one day affairs, notified several days in advance - it shouldn'y be difficult to pick a day when the trains are running if you check the newspapers / teletext / Scotrail hotline...

worth noting, the City Art Galleries in Edinburgh are right next to Waverley Station, where all ncoming trains terminate..

Oh yeah yeah....well I've got Celebration II in my backyard. Almost literally ;) Wow that's really cool. I hope someone takes lots of pictures cause I'd love to see what all of you look like and what the exhibit looks like. I've never been to Magic of Myth and we have the *dinky* Art of the Starfighter here now. Which is pretty much...well... a Naboo Starfighter :)

Anyone been to visit this yet ?

I'm a spot too busy this month, but I reckon I'll make a day of it before AOTC comes out, just to get my fanboy muscles warmed up......

after AOTC comes out, the exhibition will be mobbed with kids....... I'm afraid a June visit might be a bit of an ice-cream and snotters rammy.

not that I don't like kids, or anything.
Grilled with tarragon butter and served on a bed of suedoise potatoes, they can be quite pleasant.......
