    Ok, Don't shoot the messenger...

    BUT

The following was relayed to me by Biba Fett.

    Brace yourselves....

There will be NO take down photograpy allowed.
As per the folks at Lucas.

Sorry folks. But I have to follow the rules.
I will see to it that once the show is down,
That Biba Fett will answer what questions she can.

Again, this is directly from the folks at Lucas.

I hope the info that was provided, and any other info
we can get up aftwer the take down was/will be of
    help to you all.

Thanks for the update Darth_Manos. I can't say I'm surprised at all.

I think many of us are greatful for the insights you and Biba-fett have been able to share with us. :)

Speaking of which, I have one more silly Luke ROTJ question if it's not too late:

The cuffs on his sleeves - do they unbutton at all? They didn't appear to, but I couldn't really see the underside. (perhaps if I go through screen captures I'll know for sure. So far I haven't found close ups of the sleeve on the web).

    Thanks!

    Kathy

(P.S. - I think it's great your daughter was able to come to the closing party at FIDM. I'm sorry I didn't have a chance to say hello to you as well. The night went by so quickly)

Oh, bummer! Shame to hear that, but I can't say I was surprised either.

And thank you for that image Maggie! Now I know I did my version a bit differently, bit since I will redo the vest anyway at some point, I am not too depressed :)

I'm not surprised either! I'm still really happy with all the new stuff we've learned from the exhibit, and from you and Biba-Fett - so thank you! :)

Thanks for posting the photos Darth_Manos.

For those who missed out on the party here are 2 more URL's you can check out.

Britt's Photos of the FIDM Closing party

And here are my photos from the party. Most are of my friend who came along as my guest. It was her first time seeing people dressed up in movie realistic costumes and she felt like she was "At Disneyland."

I was wearing a pink/coral sweater. So I guess that's me :) Were you there? I didn't go in costume that night. I had heard some people were thinking about it, but I never really got a solid idea if it was specific people who were being invited to wear costumes (like 501st). It was actually easier to hang out and eat without worrying about a costume that night.

hey kay_dee, i have seen you so many times wearing costumes that i barely recognized you in civilian clothing-- so far i think people look better in costumes but today you proved me wrong because some people do look good with regular clothes--no i was not there but i sure wish i could attend stuff like that

Oh thanks! Although I don't consider what I was wearing regular clothes. I don't have a chance to dress up in a skirt and heels very often these days. It was kind of funny & difficult trying to get into the X-wing dressed like that.

I am so excited for you and your daughter. Never having a father myself, I can only imagine her joy. I hope that her life has been wonderful with her adopted family thus far, and that she is able to share pictures and stories from her childhood so you can see your baby "grow up" again!

Hi darthnave, that question doesn't really belong in this thread.

It has also been asked in another couple of threads I believe; please check the READ THIS FIRST -- Welcome to the Forum and Thread Index thread, under Jedi, or you might try a search for "pattern" and it should bring up some results. Find the appropriate thread to repost your question in, if you don't find the answer there already. Thanks! :)

Thanks so much for that info :) It was great seeing you at both the Closing party and the Lucas event at Fox that week! Whenever you have time to share info about the way Luke's bib flap stays closed (hooks or snaps to keep it in place?), the way the vest and tabard are constructed (lining?) - etc it would be very appreciated.

    Merry Christmas,

    Kathy
