So I just watched Johnny English last night. My gosh the cringe involved, that line of what the French are only good for, John Malkovich being French, and what they did to the priest at the end...

    Funny time

    Saw Glass on opening night.

It's godawful, especially the last 20-30 minutes. It's frustrating because McAvoy is fantastic and deserves a better film. I won't spoil anything, but everything that pissed me off in it constitutes as spoilers.

So despite awful trailers, The Kid Who Would Be King is getting pretty good reviews. Probably seeing it on Saturday.

What was bad about Garner's role in Peppermint? Compared to Jamie Lee Curtis as the vigilante in Halloween, Garner deserves an Oscar.

Well at least I can vouch that the Happytime Murders would most certainly deserve one.

Gotti is added to Netflix in a few days, definitely have to watch it before the Razzie wins. I didn't hate Happytime Murders, it was unique. And I actually liked the ending to Glass cuz I thought it was really ballsy. But I could totally understand why people would hate it. I kinda did for a few min but then I got into it when I realised where it was going.

No real surprises in the Oscar noms save for maybe 8th Grade getting the complete snub.

Oh, Justice Smith wasn't that bad in Fallen Kingdom. I mean, he didn't stand out as a good thing, but he wasn't terrible.

I bought a ticket to Fathom Event's special showing of "A Silent Voice" in select UA/Regal theaters next Mon and Thurs. I've seen it once before through an online streaming site and have been waiting for ages to see it again on a larger screen. It's certainly an anime feature film that I'd highly recommend.

The Razzies are a complete joke. They absolutely hated Demi Moore in the 90's for no apparent reason.

Just a follow-up to this. I didn't realize that the English voice actress (Lexi Marman) playing the deaf girl is actually deaf herself. I'm gonna see the subbed version on Monday; but I do plan on buying the Blu-ray when it becomes available in North America.

I took a look at the list, and the noms and wins don't seem out of place. But I'm not sure how seriously these should be taken (quelle surprise) as Adam Sandler has won for best actress.

I read Alita is getting a PG-13 rating. That falls in line with Sci-fi movies these days.

    SHUT THE **** UP, DONNIE!

As one of the comments says, I really hope this will be a trailer, and not just a superbowl ad.

She's actually good in G.I. Jane, honestly. I think it was more Striptease that turned the world against her.
