I think the petition for trying to redo GOT season 8 is stupid.

That being said this type of controversy usually spells doom for would be projects. I wonder if Disney May rethink giving D&D a SW film?

 

Taken me awhile but I am pretty sure I like Batman And Robin more than Batman Forever. It's really just Carrey in Forever that gives the movie any pep (He's great though, "You'll find the handwriting matches his, as does the sentence structure."). Batman and Robin is kind of cracked from the start. also the bad puns are pretty mercilessly frequent (Arnold delivers pretty much every one genius). Bane being a dopey punchline. "Rrrrr! Door!" And it's probably the only Bat-movie aside from Dark Knight Rises that focuses on the Bat-family as a whole.

 

I mean, if you don't like canon, isn't that what fanfic is for?

 

No. They literally just announced the next trilogy is their films. They must like the pitch.

I mean, I'll watch it.

 

I just can’t see anyone besides Ernest Borgnine playing a convincing gay cowboy Ernest Borgnine. To say nothing of the other roles.

 

Besides everything else, why bother doing a modern remake of The Wild Bunch when Extreme Prejudice already exists.

So the Blu-ray release of Alita: Battle Angel is set for July 23rd, and the Blu-ray for Captain Marvel is set for June 11th. Alita first came out in theaters in mid-February; and Captain Marvel came out a month later. My question is, why is it taking so long for the video release of Alita?

 

So my youtube recommendations have made it clear that Brightburn has leaked. Several scenes have already been uploaded to the internet, including the ending.

It's frustrating enough knowing that it isn't even out in the States yet, but we don't get it here until next month! So this leak is heartbreaking.

 

Those are so amazing! I can't wait to see it and hope people abide by not spoiling things.

Ahhhhhk! That's the worst kind of stupid spoilers. I definitely want to see it but might wind up having to go to the theatre by myself to do so.

 

I mean, we're talking about the guy who killed Hitler, so...

 

Apparently the ending is very twisty.

 

So I stumbled onto this. I haven't watched it, but I remember having to read the book for required school summer reading so I know what happens. Anyone see this?

Nebraska Jim, what a silly riff on Corbucci’s Navajo Joe. I love it. And there were Ringo spaghetti westerns* as well. Tanner might be an in joke to DiCapario’s fur trapper in the Revenant (tanning the hides).

*Ringo poster roughly translates to: “Kill me immediately Ringo said the Gringo!”

Those posters are so Italian 60s and 70s poster art, I dig them. Too bad it’s only DiCaprio’s character at this point, but -damn it- I may have to see this now if Tarantino actually filmed snippets of those “movies”, they sound hilariously on point.

 

Amazon to Woody Allen, here take your damn movie back and stuff it!

 

Hmm, I'm not familiar with that, but based on that trailer it seems like an odd book to have as required reading for school.
