Sad news for Lars von Trier fans
In other European cinema news
Wacka wacka wacka
I never knew there was an actual plot in Pac-Man; besides chomping up Power Pellets and eating the ghosts.
It is actually an intricate story of revenge told across several decades
When I was younger I could recite the names of all of the Pac-Man ghosts like I could the reindeer driving Santa's sleigh.
When I was a kid I wondered how one can eat ghosts--or indeed, how a ghost can become a ghost of itself. Maybe this film will finally address these questions
It's the dark, turbulent story of a man being chased by the specters of his inner demons who only briefly finds the strength to repel them by turning to drug abuse and popping pills.
It's not going to star Billy Mitchell, is it?
I look forward to it being quietly canceled or unceremoniously dumped onto Paramount+.
Or maybe written off if that's what the cool kid executives are doing nowadays.
Yes, he'll have a spotlight role as the strawberry inexplicably hung up on how his Donkey Kong score was totally legitimate.
overdue for someone to tell his story well, sounds like a great core has been assembled by ITV. looking forward to this one.
Me too I like Cary grant.
Criterion is finally releasing a restoration of Arsenic and Old Lace on BR this October. And I am giddy for it.
