AU Romance Plot Question

Hi

I'm thinking of writing a AU/Mirror Universe fic. cross dimensional thing.

Now, if I have mirror Luke marry Shira Brie and produce their offspring B...
And have B... involved in a cross dimensional travel accident.
and have B... get involved with Canon! Ben Skywalker...

Would that be inappropriate?

 

I'm not sure how a "mirror universe" works, but the thing that strikes me as potentially inappropriate is that Luke's biological children (half siblings) would be involved in a romantic relationship with each other. Per our FAQ, incest is defined as "sexual relations between blood relatives" and is not allowed.

If "mirror universe" means that they aren't actually blood related, then I guess that would be different.

 

Hm... technically, they aren't related, but both Lukes would have the same DNA/genes, so even though the two offspring are from two different Luke Skywalkers, they still have related genes. Any offspring they would have as a result risk being deformed and/or retarded. I know you didn't say you were going to go that far with the romance, but there is always the possibility in such things. Just a thought.
