I'll admit that Colditz is weaker than the trilogy, but it is rather necessary to set up a lot of the plot. The sub-plot with Ace does drag a bit.

But David Tennant is good in it. What's he gone and done since though? ;)

Here. There are a few Star Wars Audio Dramas. I have listened to Dark Empire and Dark Forces. They're not bad, but the best ones are the once based on the OT.

I've been listening to the BBC's adaptation of Lindsey Davis' Iron Hand of Mars, one of the Falco detective series set in ancient Rome. Well, except this one takes place mainly in ancient Germany. It's a good production so far, though I admit my memory of the book is kind of hazy after all these years. Anyway, link to first episode:

I've just re-listened to Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere, and it really is very good. The BBC put a terrific cast together for this one: James McAvoy, Natalie Dormer, David Harewood, Sophie Okonedo, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anthony Head, Bernard Cribbins, and Christopher Lee. Great thing to listen to if you plan on going to London.

Listening to Locke & Key at the moment. It's got some messed up **** in it. Much nastier than I had anticipated, though kind of gripping at this point.

You should listen to The Shadow some time. That was ****ing dark.

Anyway, the last thing I listened to was The Life and Works of Mozart. I think its more accurately described as a docudrama, but it was very, very good. I've listened to it several times.

Highly recommended. I'm a Cyberman fan though, more so than a Dalek one.

Terry Pratchett's Small Gods is available for streaming on BBC Radio 4 Extra at the moment. I've heard it before and enjoyed it.

Big Finish is definitely worth checking out. They've been putting out monthly Doctor Who CDs since 1995. Their Doctor Who output is practically an universe in and of itself.

I was referring to Spare Parts. On the previous page I mentioned I enjoyed the Klein Trilogy, so I'm obviously familiar with Big Finish.

BBC Radio have adapted Iain M. Banks' The State of the Art, starring Antony Sher, Nina Sosanya, and Patterson Joseph, and it is currently available to stream here:
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00hv1dz

I'd not read the story before, but it involves a Culture vessel discovering Earth in the 1970s.

The programme is 45 minutes long and will be available for 29 days.

This past weekend, the Radio Classics channel on Sirius XM ran a marathon of shows with James Stewart in observance of his birthday. They included one of his best performances. It's in the "Suspense" episode "Mission Completed". I've mentioned it before, and here it is:

Huh, that never occurred to me. There are also audio adaptations of The Twilight Zone. Those also make for some good Halloween fun.

Well, it's the 80th anniversary of the broadcast. Plus I had the day off today, so I drove over to Grover's Mill and saw the monument they put up at the landing site.

Adaptation of Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/m0001rjt

It's just under an hour and a half, and it stars Diana Rigg, Derek Jacobi, Natalie Dormer, and Colin Morgan, amongst others. I've always been a big fan of the Norse sagas, so I really enjoyed this.
