guise... I've now been through all eight pages of this thread, and I'm finding little or no attribution to the people who have create/made these images.... Am I missing some kind of hidden crediting, or are we just taking people's work and posting it because it's cool?

 

Either is fine. If you have the name then post it if you wish. Otherwise, eye candy is always welcome.

 

The pic I posted above came from a website called geekwithcurves.com, and is apparently from the Polaroids a Kenner representative took back in the day (they would go to various stores and take pictures of their product on shelves to show to corporate higher-ups how they were doing in certain areas).

There's apparently more of this kind of thing. Anybody want me to post some more? Also, other toy companies did this as well, because I've seen G.I. Joe RAH ones from the 1980s, probably taken by Hasbro reps.

 

I don't see this as an "if you wish" situation. Credit where credit is due. Linking back to the creator makes it easier to find more great photography. Therefore making this a better thread. Not that this is any kind of theft (posting with no credit) its just good netiquette to provide artist info to spread good work.

 

Except that forums all over the place are not required to do so, and when we find these pictures the name is not given.
