Remember when kids delivered the newspaper and pulled a wagon? Our delivery girl drivers with her mom to do it.

 

I loved those A M & A's animated Christmas window displays! One good reason to go downtown during Christmas and see all the decorations.

Lisa - I'd forgotten about the grocery store at the Blvd. Mall. How about the theaters that were on the lot where Wegmans is now? I remember being really sad when they closed. Who needs another grocery store? Ha-ha - joke's on me now!!!

 

How about the Festival of Lights?

I remember the Bisons used to play the "Hey" song, but change the name and show pictures of Irv on the jumbotron.

I remember back in the day when my sister and I would have a "party" with the babysitter for New Years Eve. My mom found a recipe for drinks we could make made of 7UP and orange juice.

Good times!

 

I got the first season of "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" for Christmas... to think that show was on fifteen years ago... weird.

Anyone remember Silverhawks?

 

Silverhawks were cool. I got He-Man on DVD, now that takes me back!

Back on topic - my Aunt has a gigantic collection of bells. Every year at New Year's, they'd have an open house with lots of people. Then at midnight, they'd all go outside and ring bells like crazy! Neighbors must have loved it.

 

I love it way to annoy the neighbors!!
