Looks to be fun...

So what do you think the odds are of getting in the IX panel? I imagine there's 30k+ per day for maybe 7k-8k seats. Are we looking at 1 in 4 or so?
This will be interesting to see how this all plays out. If it's a lottery system a lot of people are going to be pissed.
Thanks I hate it.
It specifically says it's a lottery system.
that seems to be accurate in terms of odds.
Hopefully they clear it all up within the next day or so (logistics for the lottery, VIP holders, etc..)
I would hope the large panels (like IX) would have overflow coverage available in another room. They did that at the last CE.
For the IX panel i think probably 1 in 8 given that people want info on it. Will no title yet, it going to be chaos get into this panel
They do, but I'm sure those are subject to lottery too.
At least more people can see the panel if they do that, though.
Wish everyone luck that wants to go to the panels then. Don't think ReedPop thought this one through.
Anyone can see it. They'll stream it online.
Well, I guess that makes my decision to stay in the hotel on Sunday and watch game of thrones instead of camping for TPM that much easier, huh? Fricken lottery my butt.
On the bright side a lottery is the only way I was going to be able to go to the Episode IX panel.
I'm confused. On one hand they say first come first served panel reservations via the app, yet here they say lottery. That seems contradictory.
Lottery says Wintrust. So I'm assuming the biggest panels there are a lottery, and the smaller ones are virtual queuing (aka kind of a lottery anyway, just a more tedious one)
That's how I see it too. The ones they may not see filling the arena completely as first come, first serve.
I have so many questions about this, but hopefully they will be answered when they go out with official information on what's going to happen. The only panel that might require a reservation that I'm interested in is the TPM panel.
I am a bit worried that you will be dependent on mobile data on your phone, since that can get expensive really quick if you're coming from abroad.
That's a good point.
Yeah, I had planned to buy a data package of 1 GB for the whole trip, but I rather do funnier things than wait in a virtual line for that data.
I guess it depends when they release the panel reservations. Fairest way would seem to be the night before each day's panels unless they have something else planned for anyone using Will Call. But if they do in advance then that would mean you don't have to use as much data/rely on McCormick's reception with 75k in the building.
I have my orders from the Emperor himself. He has something special planned for you.
This is a terrible idea. Hope it doesn't prevent me from getting into the TCW panel.
I'm guessing you have a less than 50% chance now.
