[BANNER] New Main Banner (We have a winner... but you already knew that...)

That red on pink is hard on the eyes.

 

Is the pink Sith just for Halloween?

As Dingo said, username is pretty hard to see. Maybe new colors? Maybe not pink?

Having extreme problems focusing on the new color scheme... I'm about to simply give up on reading PMs until the main banner and color scheme changes again.

 

I like that black and purple scheme. Very nice combination and aesthetically pleasing to the eye.

It it simply a grey with a red tint. Optical illusions present pink to ze neanderthalistic intellect.

I asked the mods if the would put it up for a couple of hours but... I think they're silence is my answer

it was my first one though my second one looked better then this

 

Has anyone noticed that the background colors don't match? The graphics have a slightly different "pink" than the board itself. This results in boxes around the ad holders and so on.

 

Said it last time, and I'll say it again, but any chance of being able to get a visible username in the header bar on the main style. Can be rather useful.

Edit: Oh, and the image on the "No Ad" pages isn't working either.

The current main forum scheme is OK, but can we please get the AuthorLink class set to something other than black?

It makes the Logged in as: Name essentially invisible.

 

Even though oba's banner is up right now, I thought I'd report that the reddish banner that's been on rotation takes a long time for dial-up connections to load. I checked the file sizes, and it's over 100 kb - very large compared to some of the other boards' banners. Is there any way that someone can compress it for the sake of the poor dial-up afflicted JCers?

I've sat for 5 minutes sometimes waiting for the red main banner to load, and while I like the banner I am getting really irritated with the long loading time.

 

I made the red banner, and it is supposed to have the same background color up in the AuthorLink as down in BoardRowA (the colomns with the Topics and Messages #s)

I converted the images to GIFs and fixed the AuthorLink on this page so the Admins can upload it in place of the original red banner style layout:
