    I thought she died on Geonosis....guess she survived after all, and is starring in a Clone Wars duology...


    Medstar I: Battle Surgeons
    by Steve Perry and Michael Reaves

    The first book in the Medstar Duology chronicling the events of the Clone Wars. It is two years after the Battle of Geonosis and extended ground fighting persists on the planet Drongar. The planet is the source of bota, an important plant used for pharmaceutical purposes. The story focuses on a Republic medical team along with Jedi healer, Barriss Offee.

    Slated for a July '04 Release

    Yep, she survived. It was confirmed in a question asked back at TOS not long after AOTC. I would find the link, but my computer's being slow right now, so...

    Anyway, hope that helps. :) BTW, I am looking forward to these books. The theme of Barriss as a healer ties in well with TAS, where she was learning the healers' arts.

    Though she wasn't among the survivor circle, she did indeed survive (I'm guessing she stayed behind to help the wounded or was wounded herself).
