You know, among the greatest mysteries in the universe is the fact that somehow this 2021 Yankees team won 13 games in a row.

 

Should be a fun Subway Series this weekend. The Mets have blown two winnable games against Miami, and the Yankees seem to find new ways of losing on a daily basis.

I'm starting to think Boone only brings in Heaney in these tight ballgames at The Stadium because he enjoys listening to the fans booing the pitcher off the field after he gives up the late inning homer.

He's going to miss his next scheduled start; the length of how long he's out will be determined on his vaccination status (which isn't public knowledge).

 

My interest in the 9/11 ceremonies in tonight's Subway Series game is about 95-100%; interest/excitement in the actual game is about 5% - maybe up to 6% just because of the special First Responders' caps that both teams will be wearing.

Kleuber is not looking like starting material. The Yankees offense finally comes alive on national television and Kleuber goes and gives up the significant lead. Oh and it's only the third inning.

 

Every time I watch a Yankees player - pitcher or otherwise - having consistently mediocre to just plain bad outings I'm eager to look up his contract just to give me some reassurance that we may not have to deal with him next year. Kluber is gone after this season is over.

 

And the 9/11 subway series is not without drunken idiocy as a fan got onto the field. Big security failure tbh

 

And Boone inexplicably replaces Lutege with Green after one inning, Green gives up the game leading home run. My disappointment is immeasurable. But my day has been good so I've got that going for me
