VIDEO Batman: Arkham Knight - next-gen Batman by Rocksteady

I don't mind it as long there's no riddler, I am so done with him. I would also like to see more of the bat family like Blue Bird and Batwoman (shouldn't be to hard considering she left a voice message for bruce in Knight)

 

I really enjoy the riddler trophies as it appeals to my gamer OCD to collect everything

I hope the rumour of the "nemesis system" that has normal criminals become super-criminals if you don't stop their lootings and muggings turns out to be fake. It just doesn't sound well designed, it sounds like if I don't take time out of my trophy hunting every fifteen minutes I'm going to have punks firing freeze rays at me and a dozen Harley knock offs running around.

 

Sounds like a Shadow of Mordor rip-off then.

 

Erm, just like it could be argued that Shadow of Mordor ripped off the Arkham Series?

 

The main combat system probably but not the Nemesis system, that was new to SoM and one of its biggest features.

(I found it to be complete arse but others loved it.)

Well, I'm excited to see the court of owls, I'm wondering if the story will take inspiration from Scott Snyder's brilliant batman Eternal story.

 

Warned yeh.

 

I like the "less bulky, more ninja-like" look that they're thinking about giving Batman. Honestly, I've never been a fan of the Arkham look. Then Origins came out and went over the top with the armor and giant gauntlets. Next was Arkham Knight, with its ridiculously garish metal suit.

Fortunately, all the Arkham games have offered a wide variety of different skins (though I'd really like to use an Azrael-Batman skin in Knight). My favorite skin so far is Christian Bale's The Dark Knight skin. They did a good job with that one. It's perfect.

And wouldn't the new Batman game be made by WB games?

 

Now you know why I consider it to be the biggest gaming disappointment of 2015 - it took all the excellence of Asylum and City and delivered a Batmobile-sized shat upon them.

 

I suppose I'm not too angry about this game's quality because I bought on Xbox Live for like $15, including a bunch of DLC.

 

I'm actually rooting for Arkham insurgency to be real now over Arkham apocalypse

I just don't think WB have the balls to make a batman game without Bruce Wayne
