    To be fair, Mac & Me has the excuse that it was an intentional rip-off of E.T. paid for by Happy Meals. There was no acclaimed film called Felines preceding Cats, and neither Kid Vid nor the rest of the Burger King Kids Club were pushing Jellicle Fries in the film.

    Hopefully they'll just delay it until next August (I mean, it definitely has to get delayed one way or another). Was looking forward to seeing a B&T film in theaters, as I was too young to really see the first film and I don't believe I saw the second until it hit video as well (though I did read the novelization while it was in theaters).

    I'd love to watch it in a theater as well (something like this is especially great to see with a bunch of other fans)

    But that's likely not gonna happen and I'm tired of waiting so bring it on dudes

    Yeah, mav and I read the tea leaves (as I'm sure you have Lloyd) and theaters are, like, never opening up again -- so I got us a really good TV and soundbar so we can stream the first-run movies we want. Trolls World Tour not so much, Bill and Ted Face the Music -- YES PLEASE.

    You will look back at as one of your best long term investments. Theaters will never be the same after this. They will just be for the major event movies. That is it.

    I want to see it ASAP and it's clearly finished and August frankly is looking like kind of a pipe dream for US theatres so put the dang thing out on VOD. I paid 20 bucks for Trolls World Tour, King of Staten Island and Irresistible I'd def shell out for this.

    Not a bad thing, in this case, since the novelization had the original/extended ending along with all the scenes deleted from the movie that are now lost.

    My takeaway from the trailer is that they have daughters. It seems like the daughters are collecting historical figures just like Bill and Ted did in the first movie.

    I didn't hear the daughter's names in the trailer, but IMDb has them as Thea Preston and Billie Logan. I like that Ted's daughter is Billie and Bill's daughter is Thea (short for Theodore aka Ted).

    My guess - if this is successful, we'll get a "Billie and Thea" spinoff/sequel/reboot.
