FF:VIC Bellflower: A Firefly Fanfilm

Hey all,
Just thought I'd let you all know that there is a fanfilm based on the TV series Firefly being made here in Melbourne called Bellflower.
Here's the sypnosis;

When Jessica's father is killed during a Reaver attack, the captaincy of the Bellflower is passed down to her.

Several years later Jess finds herself as an AirCom contractor, hauling mail for Blue Sun Postal out of the Essendon Docks on New Melbourne. These contracts mostly involve transporting high-risk cargo to the outer planets.

After a standard delivery run the Bell encounters a distress call. While not uncommon in this part of space, this particular call causes Jess to act in a most uncharacteristic manner...

Being that I am a big fan of Firefly, I'm glad to see stuff like this being promoted!


Best of luck with the film I can't personally offer any help right now, but I look forward to reading updates

 

Hey all,
I am pleased to announce that the Bellflower Shindig will happen at Campbellfield on the 21st of October which of course is on a Saturday and a week before Supanova Sydney is on...

It will start at 12pm, tour the Bellflower set, see some of the props and costumes as well as having the opportunity to chat to the cast and crew of Bellflower: A Firefly Fanfilm.

Then towards the evening, we will have a projector up and running and we'll show the first couple of episodes of Firefly for those that haven't seen or heard the show before as well as the possibility of screening the BDM 'Serenity'.
