I don't think so, but possibly the water monger saw it and told them.
That dude who informed Owen certainly saw her struggling to breathe. It's not crazy to think he'd communicate all the details
When she showed up inside the Homestead she was visibly limping but attempting to conceal it. There was visible blood staining on the bandaging around her waist. Owen could have picked up on that.
Oh yeah I don't think it was random he smashed her on the injured ribs. He aimed for that
For the first time in 45 years I'm suddenly a massive Beru Lars fan. I would watch the crap out of a show about her frontier living and slapping the Dark Side out of trespassers.
I meant did they know she was injured prior to her arrival. When they were planning the defense, and Beru decided two were enough. And yeah, it’s perfectly possible that the water monger told Owen.
With what little we saw of her, i love Beru Lars.
As @A Chorus of Disapproval said in another thread, can we pretty please get an "Owen and Beru" spin off?
I don't even mind if it's like one of those siege mobile games, where in every level you have to defend against progressively harder multiple enemies.
Episode 1 - Nikto Nuisance
Episode 2 - Klatooinian Knockback
Episode 3 - Trandoshan Trouble
Episode 4 - Hutt Hazard
Episode 5 - Tusken Threat
Episode 6 - Reva Return
I approve of this and your name change!
I have embraced the light side!
I never would have thought that a scene of Owen and Beru's deaths while Luke was at Obi-Wan's cabin would be worth watching, but now I think it could be. If it involved them taking out multiple stormtroopers, resulting in them being swarmed with stormtroopers and barraged with blaster fire or perhaps even strafed to death by TIE fighters, explaining why they are reduced to burnt bones rather than just regular corpses, as is normally seen when people die to blaster shots.
100% Beru slapped a Stormtrooper so hard that it shattered their helmet and broke their neck and this is what forced the other troopers to firebomb.
Be honest, how many times have you watched that awesome ***** slap?
I am currently at about 10.
Why hasn't anyone made a gif of it yet?
You asked, I delivered.
Stormtrooper: She just…slapped the head right off of TK-273
Officer: Send in the AT-ATs
Correct. That is the canon.
Tagged for language.
Owen and Beru are selfless, they're gaining nothing, they're caring, clothing and feeding a child that they're barely related to. But that is one of the cornerstones of SW, good people will act in a selfless way for the betterment of others. This sentiment is lost to many in this world we live in but it is something GL believes in that, Filoni has tried to carry it on.
Selflessness is something that came naturally to Luke through his upbringing, similar with Leia but within a much more privileged lifestyle. It's something Han and Lando learn, it's something Rey seemingly has from the hardship of her life on Jakku.
I do hope one of Beru's droid's designation is S1-AP.
Or how about PWN-D.
