BCS insider is out. The first includes Vince, the other creator and Bob.

 

I loved Mijo. A lot of payoff from the set up in ep 1.

The main thing I guess I'm taking from the dual premier is that Bob O and his character can carry a show.
It's easy to have assumed that based on the strength of BB but we are talking about anchoring a 1 hr drama on a character that was comic relief in the original show.

 

Only it's well-written and entertaining.

 

Nah, I've had enough of those two.

 

Odenkirk's facial expressions can carry that show. Walter White was all bottomless narcissism that only his wife and Jesse understood. But Saul is torn between self loathing and being very impressed with himself. I think that dynamic alone will make the whole thing fly.

 

I love the moments when he is practicing (rehearsing) and psyching himself up for something--I have to do that sort of thing, fairly frequently, so I can identify. He's a really great character, and I love that he's becoming more complex.

Every time Saul Jimmy brought up the possibility of the Kettlemens' kidnapping themselves, there's no way I was the only one who thought of...

The flashback with his brother having to help him get out of jail in Illinois (I wonder if we'll see more of that) was fantastic, and though I suppose it was already implied in Nacho, but having Saul Jimmy living out of the salon makes him a bit more endearing in an odd way.

 

The phone throw by Michael McKean in episode two was a "pizza on the roof" shot.

Two takes. But! It was real, Mike throwing it with tongs etc. And Vince called it that. Who wants to argue with Vince, he's adorable!

Considering it's a mental illness, there doesn't have to be any particular cause other than his own biology. But yeah, to make a narrative out of it there will probably be something that caused him to have a giant breakdown.

No, it's not. There's no scientific evidence to prove there's such a thing as electromagnetic hypersensitivity. Every study has concluded that alleged sufferers can't distinguish between real and fake electromagnetic fields. Plus, really, there are TV/radio/cellular/etc. signals in the air all around us, not to mention the natural electromagnetic radiation from the sun and Earth.

The symptoms are real, but they're probably not caused by electromagnetism.
