Amph Yours For Only $29.99*, $34.99 in Canada: Black Widow [July 2021]

I was hesitant to see the most recent trailer, but it dropped at the end of the NCAA Championship game and I was too lazy to change the channel. We did get a bit more plot, a bit more footage. Some of it appears to be what was shown at the Marvel Panel at SDCC from the accounts I came across.

I still think it's odd this Black Widow film is launching Phase IV, so I'm expecting some unexpected/unspeculated happenings in this film that will set up Phase IV.

 

The stinger will be that MCU's newest mightiest superhero team - now that the Avengers disassembled in Endgame - will be:

@dp4m I like your idea of Tasky being a clone of Black Widow. I do think it's a woman. The Winter Soldier sounding cybernetics I heard could certainly explain the photogenic reflexes, and/or a clone.

The thought of a Russian Weapon X (albeit Hydra) is very cool.

 

Taskmaster is Deadpool.

 

More than likely setting up Pugh's Yelena to take over Natasha's mantel of Black Widow going into Phase IV and beyond.

 

He sure seems to have some range on the writing front. I have to wonder how much of Ragnarok he was responsible for.

Taskmaster's mask looks a bit more skull-like than any of the looks so far have shown. But point of interest with Nat at the center top ... what's she holding? It was shown briefly in one of the trailers as well:



I would swear those are Pym Particles but that really doesn't make a whole lot of sense. This is post Civil War so Nat has crossed paths with Scott already but why would Yelena have a stash of Pym Particles? It's gotta be something else.

 

IIRC, in the first Ant-Man Darren Criss/Yellowjacket was trying to make a deal with Hydra to give them Pym Particles (been awhile, so I'll have to watch the film again), it's possible Criss made deals with other, not - so reputable organizations in that time, perhaps one that may or may not have employed Yelena.

 

Darn it, I may need that Red Guardian Pop.

 

I hope the music that's been showing up in the promos ends up being in the movie itself. I've been diggin' it.

 

They haven't said anything about tickets going on sale anytime soon, have they?

 

No but it doesn't come out until May.

 

So does F&F 9, and tickets already went on sale.

 

But Marvel movie ticket pre-sales don't open up this far out from release.

There were rumors a'swirling this would drop this morning. Turns out they were true. More rumors that the Eternals teaser will drop in time to run in front of this in theaters. Those are likely true as well.
