Books Bloodline by Claudia Gray (book spoilers permitted)

We should get a synopsis and a cover of this book by Christmas since it comes out late March and perhaps PREVIEWS magazine will have the cover and synopsis of this book next issue. Still hope it's the first of the new rebooted OT3 novels that Pablo Hidalgo said there will be waves of new novels with the original Big 3 once TFA comes out.

 

Hmm, I'm wondering if that's still the case as the online booksellers seem to have swapped this and Life Debt around, with that now due March.

Will get cleared up sooner or later....

 

According to the amazon.ca website and randomhouse website. NR:Bloodline is still due March 29,2016 and it's 336 pages long.

You can see why confusion will result. No way is there 3 months between the US / UK editions.

 

I'm very excited for this, I do plan to read Lost Stars first though. This seems very cool though.

 

I hope to get this book and then learn that Gray has announced another for 2017....

Has Gray done previous work in the Legends series or is this her second SW book?

 

A synopsis for NR:Bloodline should be announced in the next week or two since the next PREVIEWS magazine which comes out in two or three weeks will have a preview of NR:Bloodline since it comes out late March. I hope it's an OT3 novel.

Hazarding a guess, I'd say this is Cinena and Thane either A) she's been with Thane for a few years and this is their kids hence the title "bloodlines" B) she's been impisoned by the New Republic for almost 3 decades and now she gets out all "Death Wish" style to take her revenge!

Basically, I'd be really surprised if this ISN'T about the characters from Lost Stars, or their offspring.

 

BigAl6ft6, I thought Gray confirmed that neither Thane nor Ciena are in this, and it's not a sequel to LS.

 

Well, shut my mouth! I still wanna know what happened to those crazy kids, though.

 

I'm sure there will be some mention to "Commander" Kyrell and the Battle of Jakku

while I greatly enjoy Lost Stars, i would prefer a more big three centric novel here.

 

I agree, since TFA will have been out I'd like to see some novelized Big 3 novels.

 

Thanks for your support guys! Maybe 2016 will be a Big 3 novel filled year.

 

Has there been any update about the plot of this book yet? Do we know (or expect) this to be about any of TFA characters or OT Big 3? Given the title it seems like General Leia and Poe would be our best hopes to feature.

 

Dying for more info about this novel since we are all dying for more info about the pre-TFA state of the galaxy and our characters. It's dizzying to know so little after decades of novels covering pretty much every significant month in the entire timeline...
