Book Title: Legacy of the Force: Betrayal by Aaron Allston
Date and Time: Saturday, January 17th at 4pm
Location: Mooresville, NC (we'll be meeting at the clubhouse of an apartment building. PM Jada for address.)

We are going to start off our 2009 with a special session of book club and a Star Wars Original Trilogy viewing party! We'll be grilling (the clubhouse has 2 outdoor grills . . . hopefully it won't rain). So bring something to grill and something to share. The clubhouse has a great TV viewing room. We just have to leave it clean!!

And now, to the book . . .

This edition of the "New York Times" bestseller includes two bonus short stories by Karen Treviss featuring Darth Vader.

I recommended in the 2009 Book Club thread that if you haven't read the New Jedi Order that you take a look at the Wookieepedia page to get a general idea of what happened in that era. Also, if you haven't read the Dark Nest trilogy you might want to look at the Wookieepedia page on that. It will make a few more things make sense.

Our policy for the period before the book club meets is a "no spoiler" rule meaning if you post spoilers they must be Highlight-To-Read. Example: This is highlight to read. After the meeting spoilers can be posted without the markup codes.

It was good seeing all of you. Sorry we didn't stay for the whole thing and for how abrupt it seemed we left. Was trying not to disturb everyone once the baby started getting fussy.
It was nice to be able to be out and social for a bit though.
