Wonderful writing like always, dianethx. You have taken a couple of lines of backstory and transformed it into living, breathing actuality.

I *LOVED* this!!!

And you know what? What I enjoyed most about this is that you made Xani's transformation to a Dark Sider all the more plausible, into a comprehenisble process. Before your story here, I really couldn't fathom it--something struck me as off somehow, or incomplete.

So, thank you for whipping up this wonderful gem and sharing it.

 

Lurkalidth Sorry I didn't respond sooner. I've been trying to get back on the boards after being board-deprived for more than a month. Thanks so much for commenting. I'm very glad you liked it. I did enjoy trying to figure out how to write something based on a few lines....LOL without making either character overly wrong/right. Both POV were equally valid - unfortunately, Xan chose wrong this time... Happy that it came across. Thanks.
