After so many years, I?ve decided that the best thing to do would be to make contact. I know?I?ve said this so many times in the past that even I don?t believe me anymore. But this time I mean it. I?m not just fantasizing about seeing him again, wondering how he?ll receive me?if he?ll even recognize me. This time I?m really going to go see him and tell him what I?ve longed to tell him for so many years.

This doesn?t come without risks. He has a whole new life now, a wife and a Jedi Order to maintain. But some things were left unsaid and he has a right to hear the words denied him back on Tatooine?when we were both young and naïve. The question is?can my heart withstand the onslaught of emotions that seeing him again will cause?

It doesn?t matter. Sometimes you just have to do the right thing no matter what the cost. I have been a coward for much too long and now?now I intend to remedy that. The truth will be told?and our lives will never be the same. I just pray that Luke will understand and forgive me. After all, I was his first wife.

Seriously, that data pad needs to be junked in the heap with eight track tape recorders. The 2-minute wonders!

 

So she's the first 16 year old to win the essay contest? She must have had a fantastic high school English teacher.

Sister Pilot, I love the quirky way this is coming along! The techical difficulties are so appropriate. And the fact that it's a second hand datapad -- they are people who have so little in terms of material wealth.

That was so totally and original, Jade. I know that took a little work, too. So she won a datapad from her school essay contest, but it needs repair? Now, there is a ringing endorsement of the Mos Eisley school system if I ever heard one.

Good job with this. I guess we have a lot of catching up to if we are going to see this confrontation with Luke.
