    this does not sound good....

    -------------------------
It?s dispiriting to see Chow Yun-Fat being forced into martial arts roles when his strengths as a leading man lie elsewhere (i.e. running through rounds of ammunition like Shawn Kemp through pampers), but seeing as how his only legitimate stateside success is CROUCHING TIGER, HIDDEN DRAGON, this appears to be his fate for now. Fortunately, no one is likely to remember BULLETPROOF MONK a year from now, save for as an example of wasted potential.

I liked this movie better when it was called 'Rush Hour.'

The title hurts that movie more than any other movie in recent history.

The only way to make it worse would be to call it, 'Bucket of Suck.'

No, Iron Monkey was a worse title.

However, I still really want to see it. Chow Yun Fat equals greatness until proven otherwise. And I actually am looking forward to seeing how Sean Wiliam Scott does. I've always thought he might actually have some range as an actor if he were to get something other than the 'Stifler' roles.

I'm still holding out that this will be a good movie.

I agree in that Scott might have some range as an actor and this movie might help pull him out of his "Stifler" roles as Kurgan put it.

If this movie follows the comic book any it should still be a good movie. The trailers make it look like they took the orginal story, added some extra comic relief and upped its proverbial tempo.

It still has a chance though.

Anna and the King was reasonably successful...
