C-IV Art Show Information

Of course, the only problem with all of the fantastic art is that you have to pick and choose rather than buy them all (unless you're one of those rich types who can get one of everything).

 

yeah... thats a dilema. I'm hoping to price my pretty low, so folks can afford it in addition to the other fabulous things they'll want to buy. I'm think $20 - $25, but it will all depend on the cost at the printers. Oh; and final dimensions are 18 by 24 inches.

 

The 18x24 print size is the perfect size IMO, especially when framed. Your available wall space can run out real quick when you keep adding those 23x36 and 24x40 poster-sized prints to your SW room.

Excellent choice on the print size, Allison.

 

Allison, my plan is to purchase your artwork "The Princess." I am going to have both yours and Carrie Fisher's autograph on it. That would just be awesome

I'm going to try to limit myself to 2 but it going to be tough.

 

I don't know if Mark Raats is going to be part of the art show, but I know he's exhibiting at the con.

He's drawn some killer stuff.

Looking forward to finally meeting him and hopefully buying some original art.

I don't know if anyone is interested...? but I posted some of the prelims I did for "The Princess" in my Comicartfans gallery. I was pretty concerned about getting this piece just right, so did alot of preliminary practice work. I'll have them with me in the artshow, probably for sale....

My print is going to be 13x19, so smaller than Allison's, but it's awesome. Hopefully it'll be up on starwars.com soon

I'm afraid that when I walk into the art room, I will not be able to concentrate! There's just too many art pieces to see. I can't wait!

 

Wow! I am absolutely amazed by and absolutely thrilled with the talent assembled for the Art Show at STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV and the art they have created.

Me and my wife totally enjoy the art shows at the STAR WARS celebrations and I am definitely looking forward to the Art Show at STAR WARS CELEBRATION IV.

Being able to attend the Art Show on the first day is another reason why I am totally glad me and my wife are members of HYPERSPACE THE OFFICIAL STAR WARS FAN CLUB. I definitely want us to be at the Art Show as soon as we can.

Rob Hendrickson's piece is fantastic. It captures the PT and the OT beautifully.

 

I mentioned previously that artist Mark Raats will be exhibiting at Celebration IV.

I have to say I was really impressed with Justin Chung's piece. We see and hang out with him and Joe Corroney all the time at various cons and I haven't seen him do a piece like that yet. All the artists are turning in some fantastic work.

 

Finally get to meet you in person, Amy!! Woohoo!!! Geez, it's been how long??

My print is 16"x20".

 

I really like Dave Dorman's Persuasion. It's different from most because it's not a portrait and I didn't want to have too many of those.

I'll add this one to my list of possibilities. It's going to be tough to decide when the time comes. There's just so many great works of art.

 

My wallet is screaming right now. Sooooo many cool pieces to buy...
