Calgary Calgary Expo - April 26-27 2008

Thank you all who volunteered!
It was so awesome meeting you folks I had to join the Fanforce. I was the Jedi with the white tunic and tabords and the black cloak and boots with the blinking saber hilt made from old hard drive bearings(lol). I drove up from Medicine Hat and it was totally worth the drive. The booth was great! You all inspired me and I want to do it again so here I am joining up. Plus I got to meet Tricia Helfer... Fracken Awesome! Special thanks to my brother-in law TK/BH 4130 Boba Darcy for getting me tickets (and my sister for putting up with us both by getting up early to drive us on her day off). So totally stoked to have met some like-minded fans as into costuming and props... any excuse to don the Jedi fatigues and Im there for you folks. What a show of fanforce! I missed Sunday cause I had to drive back to the Hat but next time maybe I can get a decent amount of time off to help out for the whole event? Maybe meet the rest of you I didnt get the chance to introduce myself to. You all made me feel welcome and I thank you for the inspiration... (now do I actually have enough time to build obi's new clone trooping armor before the movie?)

It was cool to meet you too, Matt. I was the guy in BSG fatigues, and later brown and green Mando armour.

If you want to get into CW Obi-Wan gear, check out crazyoldwizards.com, the OWK costuming site. They're setting something up for that, I believe. Sonsofthesuns.com is also gearing up with CW Anakin gear, so depending on how I spend my money this summer, I may go in for that as well.

Good to meet you too. COOOL Armor MAN! Thanks for the links! I generally build or make my stuff too so I need as much reference material as possible. Hopefully we'll see some wicked Clone Wars Jedi armor turning up right away! Looks like I'm going to have to start a Junland Waste(Med Hat) sector myself... I'm like the only one here I think(?)
