    Frank Thornton, who played Captain Peacock in BBC comedy Are You Being Served? has died at the age of 92.
    Thornton died peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, his agent David Daly said.

    I must say I enjoyed him in the series. He'll be missed..

    Just seen this on the news - a sad loss, but nice that he passed away peacefully at a very good age.

    Yeah, he had a pretty good innings and was working well into old age on Summer Wine.
