In June/July? Did they forget about the SOLO-desaster? I would prefer the time window Feb-March, where the weather is not that good, that people are happy about everything new in TV a̶n̶d̶ ̶i̶t̶ ̶w̶i̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶e̶ ̶e̶a̶r̶l̶i̶e̶r̶.

It would be clones and jedi as villains in this flashback witch would be intresting.

 

Well I mean if he encountered clones unless he was shooting at them I don’t think they would kill him.

 

I mean he watches as the clones and jedi kill his people, maybe even his father dies at the hands of a jedi.

Not only that we could get an idea of what he did before joining the rebellion, i bet he became a thief and maybe worked for the crime syndicates.

 

A 9 Year old Cassian would would be 9 during the early imperial era so no clone wars stuff. He would be nine in the second year of the empire

 

He was seven at the end of the Clone Wars, so we could still get flashbacks. And that’s assuming they don’t retcon his official age. TBH I always assumed he was older than 26 in Rogue One.

OK, got it. Thanks for that. I was thinking about his "6 years old" comment in Rogue One, which people said placed him in the Clone Wars era then.

 

It does but seeing as how he would only be 6 in 21 BBY he would be 8 I think by the time TCW ends

 

Yup. My guess is that the showrunners want to show him as young during the early Empire, rather than confusing the audience with CIS stuff.

 

Plus I think it would be confusing as so many see the CIS as bad guys

 

John Hoey from Star Wars News Net says he’s hearing this show is in trouble. Apparently Tony Gilroy has been involved from the start but there’s something bad going on behind the scenes. He says Gilroy completely “gutted” Rogue One and started over from scratch.

 

What do you mean Gutted Rogue One?

 

Given that SWNN have an almost 100% record on getting things wrong this tells me that the Cassian series is doing fine.

 

If by gutted they mean "turned RO into a (probable) much better film", then that's fine by me. But yeah, SWNN have proven time and time again that they know nothing. Literally, they have a pretty much 100% record of wrongness. So I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

Oh yea I am not worried about Canadian Andor show. Especially with the recent news of casting a young Andor
