It was all very dramatic but it had to happen offscreen on account of the bothans still not having a canon design.

 

Where did you have Jedi in Resistance?

Then it is high time to give them such one. And show truly important, really appealing non-humans, not such a pathetic decoration of an idle zoo like in the whole ST.

I thought you set Resistance in contrast to Rebels concerning the appearance of Jedi. Just a misunderstanding then.

One of the coolest things in new Star Wars (and Enfys has one of the best costume designs). Also, space pirates on swoop bikes attacking a train high up in the mountains? Best idea for an action scene ever.

 

Ha! In the end it will turn out that the SOLO movie wasn't that bad.

 

Wasn't the word that Cassian Andor was going to start filming this month sometime? Thankfully, a lot of films are starting up production again, so hopefully this isn't far away.

They are more likely to bring Vader back from the dead than that

 

More likely... yess... I do remember a certain Emperor thrown down a shaft... disappearing for decades ... then he became all Sith ... hearing Vader's booming voice in his head: "I find your lack of mortality disturbing."

 

I wouldn't be surprised if this (the Kenobi series too) is planned to have a limited number of episodes/ series with a definite ending in mind.

Maybe the eventual endgame for Cassian is to have the last episode be his final mission before he goes to Kafrene in RO.

Only for it to be a huge success and Disney ORDERS extra seasons.

In Cassian's case I imagine they'd just keep going further back in his life.

 

Kenobi is limited, but this series can go as mutch as 5 seasons. the ending isnprobaly the beginning of Rogue one, ithink Cassian will have8-10 episodes a season like Mando. Kenobi only has 6 episodes.

 

Yeah, this is not billed as a limited series, whereas Obi-wan is. Plus, it’s already been announced that the Cassian show starts off about 5 years prior to RO, if I remember correctly.

 

yess just like rebels was 5 years before RO, so we can each season be a year. The first two seasons he's part of a small rebel cell and by season 3 they become apart of the rebel alliance.

 

IMO this series will be much better than fans suspect. Quietly confident it will deliver.

 

Well, I as a fan don't feel included here.

 

Maybe only 4 from some rumors but Kenobi is and should be a special case. There are only so many ways he can be used with his Tatooine exile overlooking Luke.

How many times can he leave Tatooine? Once is fine. Maybe even a second time but other than that he has to be there. They can of course do a story like the Kenobi novel with him helping moisture farmers against Tuskens but that is a different track then the Jedi action that an audience would expect to see.

As you say Rebel based series has lots of story be that Cassian or others.

Anything of strong rumor what it's about? How many years before R1? Presumably he meets and reprograms K2 is around the start? I think they should have made him the actor's age as opposed to saying he was younger. IIRC Luna is 10 years older than Andor. It'd have been far better for him to be 17 by the time of ROTS than 7.

Now the actor is 40 while the character is going to be early 20's when he could have been early 30's. Maybe they will adjust it for the series to be more in line as that backstory is not in the movies but only other media.

 

he is 26 by Rogue one and this show is set 5 yearss earlier so he be 21. They just have to make him look younger. I assume Cassian meets with K2 in the premiere similar to Mando meets baby yoda.

 

Hopefully the characters will be better developed then Rogue One,
