This is a dangerous situation, ReedPop. Our servers will not be fit to run a lottery properly.

Celebration is not what it once was. EBay is full of greedy, squabbling scalpers. There is no interest in the common good. I must be frank, Your Majesty. There is little chance ReedPop will act on the badge reselling.

ReedPop seems to think there is hope.

If I may say so, Your Majesty...ReedPop has little real power. They are mired by baseless accusations of corruption. Disney is in charge now.

What options have we?

Our best choice would be to push for the election...of a stronger con runner...one who could control the scalpers...and give us justice. You could call for a vote of no confdence in ReedPop.

They have been our strongest supporter.

Our only other choice would be to submit a plea to Disney.

Disney takes even longer to decide things than ReedPop. Our people are being ripped off, Senator. We must do something quickly to stop the scalpers.

To be realistic, Your Majesty...I think we're going to have to accept scalper control...for the time being.

The irony is that ReedPop does have a good system in place for another one of their cons in order to prevent the very things that are happening with Celebration. I don't think they anticipated Celebration to grow this quickly and the demand for it to get this high in such a short time span, even on the heels of Chicago being as popular as it was. Anaheim 2020 has to prove to them that they're going to have to implement a NYCC style system for future Celebrations, assuming they are still in charge of it. It's crazy that just four years ago for Anaheim 2015 somebody could buy a 4 day badge literally the week before. And now they sell out in an hour for one that is over a year away and isn't even happening during a saga film year.

 

We've got a year. We should shoot a Celebration themed remake of TPM and debut it at a panel in Anaheim.

 

It'll be so popular it might even require a lottery to get in.

 

They will watch our panel with great interest.
