Celebration Anaheim 2022: What will they unveil?

Mando S2 for sure, and mentions of other projects like Kenobi, Cassian, Rebels 2, any animated shows, and possible Mando spin offs.

And we'll hear about the book/comic Luminous project.

And if there's a film being released in 2022, I guess this would be a fit time to mention it.

 

I could actually totally see him paling around with his friend (probably his only friend, if we're to believe from Legends) Sate Pestage and his companion Mas Amedda while they drink some wine and reminisce about their more earlier years while Palpatine brings up an incident where he had to resort to his signature lightning.

(I feel like Palps and Dooku are the only ones that should be able to use lightning since that makes them more unique.)

 

Season 2 of The Mandalorian will be the headliner of course, but I'd love it if we got brief teasers for the Cassian and Kenobi series, respectively. Not proper trailers, of course, but perhaps something similar to the Rogue One teaser from Celebration 2015:

 

I feel like they imagined having more to say when they first planned this Celebration.
But no movies, far less TV that they expected...

While there might be a clip from Mando 2, the big announcement will be the Ahsoka animated series. That will be the room to get into.

Maybe a Fallen Order 2 announcement?

Cassian and Kenobi might get words said, maybe Alan Tudyk comes out and banters for a bit, but they'll still be too early to show anything.

 

I feel like they have to give us something at this point.

Now that we've had this "High Republic" announcement, I'd really like to see them delve into that in great detail-and I'd love for them to release films in that era, besides just the books.

 

Well, the official High Republic announcement said they “will not overlap any of the films or series currently planned for production."

Okay, so now I hope for a Disney+ movie or two.

The modern equivalents of the Ewok movies.

Lower budget, and on themes that wouldn't rake in a Billion in the cinemas, but following the Netflix model they will be enough to generate some buzz for a week or two. Remind people that subscribing to D+ is worth it.

Oh for sure a good Ewok Disney+ movie is there for the making

 

We need a D+ movie about how Wicket and Son were able to take down a First Order Star Destroyer above Endor with a Holdo Maneuver while they were still on the ground.

But yah a surprise D+ Star Wars movie would be grand and an interesting twist. But I am thinking this Celebration will be way more TV focused (probably announcing a new animated series) and High Republic. And more Baby Yoda merch that everyone on stage will insist upon calling The Child frequently.
