I will seriously consider attending that Celebration. I may live in the US, but going to London from where I live, is about the same as going to California, both price wise and timewise. And I have a friend in London that could potentially let me stay there for a few days. It helps that 7-10 April is off season, so the ticket prices will be hopefully more reasonable. Something to consider, for sure.

Germany would have been great; the food is so, so, so much better than in England. And everything's cleaner in Germany.

But yeah, I'm definitely considering going.

So does that mean your going to the London Celebration or your ok that this year was the first year they didn't give us all the Pannels how is that ok? If we all write the powers that be we can make a difference. I was part of the letter writing campaign that got Futurama back on the air and got the voice cast there jobs! Some of us even sent cans of anchovies to the powers that be because that's Zoidbwrgs favorite food! I got a personal signed letter from David X Cohen and Matt Groening it's hanging on my wall behind plastic! And wouldn't you know Futurama is coming back new season next year entire cast produced by Disney on Hulu! I have been writing Disney for years now trying to get them to bring the show back I would like to think me and others made a difference. I can't be the only one not happy about Celebrations coverage on YouTube this year?

If your on the east coast it's quite a few hours more then going to California. I had a friend who went to London from Baltimore there flight had good headwind they got there in 7 hours that's longer then going to California and it usually takes longer then 7 hours. The Atlantic ocean from America to London is way bigger then the continental US

They released pretty much all the footage they showed to the rest of us except for The Mandalorian season 3 trailer and if you know where to look you can watch that too. Am I disappointed that the panels weren’t streamed? Yes. Am I going to write my congressman about it? No I have better things to do with my life.

Yeah, we got the Andor trailer, Jedi Survivor trailer, The Bad Batch season 2 trailer, as well as info on a ton of new stuff. Writing letters about us at home not getting quite as much material as those who paid to be there is way too "wanting to speak to the manager" for my taste.

People sitting at home on their couches complaining that they didn't get all the content that those who paid good money to go to the event is pretty darn silly in my opinion.

If anyone tries to write letters griping that they didn't get everything the people at the event got they deserve a response back that has nothing but a big LOL.

Let's see with it taking place less than a year from now what should we expect (just based on what we know now). Season 3 of Mandalorian should be wrapping up by then so there probably will be a panel discussing the show overall and what to expect from a potential fourth season (highly doubt we would get a season 4 trailer though at that point).

    -Andor season 2 trailer
    -Skeleton crew season 1 trailer
    -Ahsoka trailer
-probable Acolyte trailer (depending on the development it gets in the meantime)
-potential Bad Batch season 3 trailer
-plus an announcement of another series or two
-Maybe.......maybe........maybe updates on the next movie

Those are probably things that have a high probability of happening. No wonder they are having another Celebration just a year later with all that happening.

Yeah I am in New York and have done the trip to London a few times, either via a direct flight or just connecting there to catch another flight.

It takes about 7:15 hours to go to London, and 8 hours to come back because of winds. It's always the same.
The trip to let's say LA from here is 6 hours and takes 5:30 hours to come back, so the time difference is minimal to me.
Especially when adding the chaos with traffic at LAX and Los Angeles in general.

Plus, 7-8 hour long trips give me plenty of time to watch all the originals on the way to London and the prequels on the way back :p
If I go to LA I will have to skip half of ROTJ and half of ROTS.

Writing letters to complain is being a Karen, so that's a no no.

However, not releasing the Ahsoka and Mando 3 trailers now that Celebration is over, is quite stupid.

Also, it's not about getting "all the content" , jeez. It's about getting two trailers that they showed. The people who didn't pay the money, still missed out on a billion things.

The letter thing leads to Darth Karen.

Be angry that you missed out on it if you have to. But never go Darth Karen. More speaking to a manager now than man. Twisted and viral.

So can we expect a new movie in 2025 at the earliest? I miss the cinema experience. Even Solo was a lot of fun

Kennedy said that there’s still a chance Taika’s movie comes out in late 2023, but added that nothing is “locked in,” so we’ll see.

I was at the convention this entire weekend and while I didn't quite get to see everything, it was still an amazing time overall. The only significant panels I got into were the AOTC 20th, Tales of the Jedi and an overflow for the stream of The Bad Batch season 2.

My biggest highlights though were stopping by the livestream stage to see interviews on Thursday with Ewan and Hayden, Moses Ingram and Rupert Friend, Deborah Chow, Diego Luna and Genevieve O'Reilly, and on Saturday with Rosario Dawson and Natasha Liu Bordizzo, and Matthew Wood. Those are just a matter of good luck and timing though, since they don't announce who will come onstage in advance. The roar for Ewan and Hayden was just off the charts. Incredible. And the AOTC panel was also a lot of fun. Temeura Morrison with unlimited star wattage, enough to steal the entire panel for himself.

Welp, now time to speculate what'll be forthcoming to Celebration next year, especially since it's about 10 months out. I'd guess Ahsoka and The Acolyte will be the big headliners for streaming, and possibly Andor season 2. Whether we get anything on the feature film side will depend on if it actually releases next holiday season or not haha.

Now that you mention it, what was the final rundown of everything that was shown vs what has been released to the world?

    Stuff shown and released
    Andor trailer
    Bad Batch S2 trailer
    Jedi Survivor trailer
    Willow trailer
    Indy image

    Stuff shown and not released
    Mando S3 trailer
    Ahsoka teaser

    Anything else?

They showed one of the Ahsoka episodes of "Tales of the Jedi," and I think there was a bit more footage in the Bad Batch trailer shown at Celebration vs. the one released online.
