Visions season 2 will be spring 2023, and Ahsoka is currently just 2023. I'd be surprised if it came so soon after Mando season 3. And I'd also be very surprised if Andor season 2 released in 2023. I believe production for that begins this November. For reference, Season 1 of Andor started filming in the fall of 2020, so that'll be almost two full years before it finally debuts at the end of August.

Ahsoka is probably going to be the May the 4th 2023 Star Wars drop I'd wager.

Anyway, no movie announcements but a whole lot of DisneyPlus exclusives. could have branded it A Star Wars Celebration Of Disney+ Content To Come

But they specifically said at celebration that they’re aiming for have Andor season 2 out next year. Then again, they’ve said that sorta thing before, only to delay things further.

Hmm, I must have missed that. Well, not impossible I suppose. I'd guess late fall at the earliest then.

We missed the footage of The Mandalorian season 3 and a Teaser trailer to Ashoka every year since this event has been on YouTube I've been watching on YouTube since 2015 and went on the Friday in 2017 in Orlando and since the event has been live streamed on YouTube every year except this year they gave us the Pannels not always the trailers big I'm going to be honest but soon after Disney releases the trailers online. I'm angry at this most fans can't attend and have come to expect this of Lucasfilm. With the attitude of not interested I don't care yeah nothing happens but when every fan and there mother's writes the powers that be things happen for the better. It's like that old saying one vote doesn't matter in an election so why should I vote totally untrue have you ever seen the Futurama episode A Head In The Polls or The 2000 US Presidential Election?

I am a Futurama fan ever since 20th Century Fox was bought by Disney I have been Writing 20th Century Studios Disney and Hulu and Disney Plus on Twitter asking to please bring back Futurama And finally new Futurama season next year on Hulu I would like to think me and other fans writing helped!

Leo, this isn't the first time not everything has been live streamed. I was at a panel in 2016 that wasn't. And that same Celebration had a Rogue One trailer that was never released online (and the one the year before had an announcement teaser for RO that was never released online). The first Mandalorian teaser was never released either. It's just the way these things are; people who go to Celebration do pay for a certain amount of exclusivity.

Writing letters and fan campaigns can work at times, but it can also have an opposite effect. Begging to renew Futurama... maybe fan campaigning helped there, I don't know. But I think that an equally likely outcome is that LFL will double down on the exclusivity factor if they're bombarded with angry letters (no, I don't think your letters would be angry, but you can be assured that many would be should such a campaign gather steam).

And honestly, I just don't feel that entitled as a fan. I enjoy watching the Celebration live streams, but I'm not losing sleep over missing a few panels. Thousands of Star Wars fans got to enjoy them at least.

The first Mando teaser was eventually released online... like four months later. A measly third of a year. We'll all live, I promise.

Was that the same one? I was under the impression that they were similar, but not the same.

I just sent an angry letter to LFL demanding that they should continue to decide how to run these things.

I was in Chicago at the panel. They were the same. It was the first look footage attached to the trailer that was never released (at least, until the episode premiered).

So I guess you were both right, from a certain point of view :emperor:

I'm keeping my expectations low. Release dates for Ahsoka and Skeleton Crew and I'm happy. Anything else would be gravy.

Don't forget Visions season 2. I think that might actually be the next release after season 3 of The Mandalorian. It was originally announced for a spring 2023 release at Celebration Anaheim last year.

I think if there is a film starting production this year it’ll likely be announced at Celebration. I mean they have to, right? [face_praying]
