Meesa not there on Thursday! Have Hadyen photo op for Friday but still; would've LOVED an autograph. Would've helped they've put both days up first, so perhaps people would've picked Thurs. rather than Fri., but whatevs.

My auto is still Friday and I think I'm gonna keep it since it won't conflict with anything I want!!! So happy!!!!

 

The Celebration Twitter account tweeted he's there Thursday and Friday, so they probably made a mistake listing Saturday (probably why they pulled him down).

 

Why all this push and pull for his appearance? I can't imagine what the hell else he has better to do than be at Celebration all four days.

 

Because of the rarity. He's never signed and done photo ops before. He could have the past decade and made a good living off of it at conventions, but he chose not to. Who knows if he'll ever do this again?

 

I guess. But that's kind of my point. If he's going to be there, be there. What else could he possibly have going on that he could only be there a day or two, rhetorically speaking.

 

I don't think he's avoided cons because he was busy, he didn't do them because he didn't want to. The fact that he (and Denis Lawson) changed their minds is a big deal.

 

The nice side of me likes to think that his management was pleasantly surprised by his popularity and so agreed to more sessions. The cynical side of me thinks that they did this deliberately to make sure that people would buy the less popular (on account of clashing with TLJ panel) Friday am spots.

There's also still one unannounced slot on their schedule - I will like to pretend that it's for Lucas

 

I honestly think everybody was a little surprised how quickly he sold out Friday.

 

star_wars_is_good: I guess. But if you're going to do it, do it. Don't let it be this push and pull, will he or won't he, some days and not others, but then yea, those other days too. Just be there. Like I said, what else can he possibly have going on that weekend.

 

I imagine that TCW waa responsible for a lot of this renewed Anakin-fan redemption. Either way, I sort of feel bad (as bad as I can feel for a multimillionaire 30-year-old actor) for the reception he received for his performance in the prequels .. I would still like to think that with a different director and script, he could "sell" Anakin much more convincingly. A Clone wars live action Kenobi-Anakin standalone would be awesome.

 

I don't know. It is Easter weekend and he has a family. I'm sure he has a reason.

Looks like Hayden autographs are sold out, again. Photo ops still available. For now.

 

I just hope it was him saying "yea sure I'll do more" on the spot, than it was the company having this pre-planned way of offering his autographs and photo ops already knowing he would be there.
